This floating solar photovoltaic (FPV) project is located in Chiang Rai, Thailand, and represents an innovative approach to utilizing water surfaces for renewable energy generation. The project has an installed capacity of approximately 1MWp and adopts 700Wp high-efficiency photovoltaic modules with a 5° installation tilt angle.
The floating PV system uses a modular floating platform and rod-connection structure, enabling efficient deployment on the water surface while maintaining structural stability and operational reliability.
Foner Solar provided engineering design, structural component supply, and on-site technical support for the project. The system was successfully completed and commissioned in December 2024 and has been operating smoothly since then.
